Ligeti's Poème symphonique for 100 metronomes in Croydon

100 Faces of Croydon

On February 10th, we celebrated love and friendships in Croydon Fairfield hall. It was a real pleasure curating the project "100 Faces of Croydon". It’s a community project with local people, photographers, London Mozart Players and my co-curator, dear friend Jonathan Bloxham.

The project culminated with the Ligeti's Poème symphonique for 100 metronomes. We started to develop the idea of “100 Faces” exactly 10 years ago with Jonathan. And now after successful projects in Newcastle Gateshead and in Estonia it was time for Croydon.

Thank you to the participants, photographers and London Mozart Players.
